What is the value of coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between you and your coach with the purpose of enhancing your life experience, skills, performance, capacities and wellbeing. Through coaching, you will focus on setting goals, creating outcomes and enabling transformation.

The role of the coach?

Coaches are experts in human behaviour. They are able to identify patterns and guide you to your own conclusions through questioning.

The most effective coach will have experience in your domain – whether it be the tech industry, leadership, strategy or people management – so they can relate more deeply to your context.

A professional coach will challenge you and help you to stretch your thinking once a trusted relationship has been established. They will hold space to enable reflection and insights. A coach will encourage you to take action , serve as your accountability partner and celebrate your wins with you.

As per the International Coaching Federation (ICF) code of ethics, a professional coach should always maintain strict confidentiality and a non-judgemental attitude.

When is coaching most successful?

In order to be coachable, you need to be open-minded, curious, keen to explore and willing to expand your thinking, be challenged, and be interested in growing as a human and as a professional. You also need to be ready to take action and have some level of courage. Most professionals would benefit from coaching of some kind – facing into areas of growth enables you to become a stronger, more respected leader.

Free Consultation to explore how coaching or mentoring can catapult you to achieve your goals. During this session, I assess your readiness for being coached and explore if we are a good fit to work together.

Once a decision has been made to proceed, we define what success looks like for you and personalise your coaching/mentoring program. We agree to a coaching commitment that outlines my commitments, your commitments, confidentiality and ethics.

Kick off! Together, we launch your coaching program, to enable you to connect more deeply with your unique strengths to drive your career forward. You’ll complete assessments and diagnostics and we conduct a strategy session to document your goals.

Coaching in Progress – We continue to work together and regularly review or elevate your coaching, to support you gain the best outcomes.. At the conclusion of this step, I’ll provide next steps and recommendations to help you sustain your development.
